Had lots and lots of good cheap restaurants and shopping right at doorstep. Right on the Marina and walk to the castle ruin.
We had a room fronting busy road. Would have liked one with view of the water.

View overlooking marina from the room and within walking distance to very good selection of restaurants and bars in the evening. Easy driving distance for days out to historic places. No problem with parking.
Was not told bar and restaurant was not open during our stay but this did not matter too much because lots of others available.

It was nice that the hotel was on the marina and just around the corner from the beach. The staff was very nice.

We have now stayed here several times. It is a great stop off place on our frequent travel between Spain and Italy. Very friendly staff, and most important of all for us, dog friendly for well behaved dogs. Some great restaurants nearby and gruissan is a quaint interesting town.
